East Coast Adventure established in 1992 by Mark Cumming, has been delivering adventure-based experiences in the Mourne Mountain and Carlingford Lough for a lifetime. We are based on Lower Knockbarragh Road, Rostrevor, Co. Down at our outdoor centre, glamping pods and mountain lodge. Our friendly experienced team are ready and waiting to share your experience.

This fabulous part of Ireland is our home and we love nothing more than ensuring all our visitors have the time of their lives. So, young and old, abled and less-abled, groups small or large, individuals, couples or family groups join us and let us explore and experience this wonderful location, its landscape, its people and its adventures.

Ireland Wild Escapes is your travel expert in the west of Ireland offering authentic and immersive packaged and bespoke tours, activities and experiences along the Wild Atlantic Way route. Proudly promoting conservation and responsible travel which enables our rural communities to thrive.

Our experiences include:

CULTURE & LEISURE – Fascinating local history, heritage, culture, traditional Irish music, language & dance, islands, festivals, castles, wildlife & ecology, gourmet, creative arts, storytelling, interpreted by local Irish guides.

WALKING – Guided or self-guided walking, trekking or hiking on beaches, bogs, islands, hills & mountains, with varying walking grades and routes.

CYCLING – Electric bikes, pedal bikes & mountain bikes (off-road only) are all available for all cycling enthusiasts.

ANGLING – Fresh water and deep-sea angling. Fresh water fishing includes fly fishing for wild salmon, sea & brown trout and coarse fishing for pike, roach & perch.

Deep sea angling includes reef, shark & blue fin tuna fishing.

ADVENTURE – Choose one or more of our many soft adventures: Kayaking, beach horse riding, archery, clay pigeon shooting, surfing, coasteering, stand up paddle boarding, to name a few.
