IAAT and Outwest Clothing Announce Partnership to Champion Inclusive Outdoor Experiences and Wellbeing
Ireland’s Association for Adventure Tourism (IAAT) and Outwest Clothing are proud to announce a new partnership, founded on a shared belief that the outdoors should be accessible to everyone.
The collaboration brings together two organisations committed to breaking down barriers to outdoor participation, encouraging more people to experience Ireland’s natural landscapes responsibly, and promoting the wellbeing benefits of active, inclusive outdoor recreation.
Brendan Kenny, CEO of IAAT, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Outwest, an outdoor clothing company with an ethos we share and support. We share a belief that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and experience the positive impact it can have on both mental and physical wellbeing. By working together, we hope to inspire more people to connect with nature, support our adventure tourism community, and help create welcoming, inclusive pathways into outdoor activity for people of all backgrounds and abilities.”
As an Irish outdoor clothing brand that is B Corp certified, Outwest shares IAAT’s commitment to fostering a culture where adventure is accessible, inclusive and sustainable.
Shane Finn, Co-Founder of Outwest, added: “Outwest is both delighted and excited about our new partnership with IAAT. Outwest’s mission is to inspire people to live life outdoors, and the people IAAT represents are already doing exactly that. We share their belief that adventure should be accessible to everyone, and we’re excited to build on that together.”
The partnership reflects a shared vision of an Ireland where spending time outdoors is seen not only as an adventure, but as an opportunity for healthier lives, stronger communities and a deeper connection with the natural environment.
IAAT Members will be eligible for a special Outwest Clothing discount.
