tic Whale and Wildlife Tours, is now hiring for the 2026 Tourist Season.
We are one of the leading companies providing marine tourism experiences on the south coast of Ireland and have been in business for over 40years.
We operate charter angling from Courtmacsherry, and whale/wildlife tours from both Courtmacsherry and Kinsale,offering clients exceptional experiences on the water. We are now seeking qualified and professional crew/wildlife guides to join our expanding team!

Positions Available
• Domestic Master (<100 Passengers)
For our passenger ship Lady Catherine class 6,operating between Kinsale and Courtmacsherry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operating the vessel, displaying best seamanship practices.
• Ensuring high standards of passenger safety, comfort, and customer service.
• Managing crew, navigation, and onboard operation of our SMS systems.
• Providing engaging and informative commentary when required.
Requirements:
• Valid Domestic Master qualification (<100 passengers)or similar.
• Strong seamanship and navigational skills
• Experience working in passenger or tourism operations (preferred)
Good remuneration package available ,seasonal or full time.

• Skippers:
We also require Skippers with P5 certification,if you don’t have the neccessary certs but have good boat handling and seamanship skills we can enroll you on the courses needed to attain certification.

Responsibilities include:
• Skippering whale/wildlife and Angling charter vessels when required
• Ensuring safe vessel operation and passenger care,engine and boat maintenance.
Supporting the smooth running of daily tour schedules.
